Three Levies personnel martyred in Pishin blast

PISHIN: At least three security forces personnel embraced martyrdom while three others were injured in a blast in Pishin district of Balochistan on Friday, ARY News reported.

According to ARY News correspondent, a bomb planted in a motorcycle exploded near Assistant Commissioner’s vehicle near bypass in Pishin leaving at least three Levies personnel dead and three others injured.

According to ARY News correspondent, the assistant commissioner of Bashore was targeted in the attack, however, the government official was not present in the vehicle.

The correspondent added that initial investigation has revealed that the remote controlled-bomb was planted in a motorcycle along the route of assistant commissioner’s caravan.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and started a search operation while injured were moved to a nearby hospital.
