According to United States media, the unfortunate incident took place in Palos Hill area of Chicago as a small aircraft crashed shortly after take off from Midway International Airport due to a technical fault.
The deceased doctors were identified as neurosurgeon Dr. Tausif Rehman, Dr. Ali Kanchwala and his wife Dr. Maria Javaid. They were residents of Lawrence area of Kansas city.
Rehman was flying the aircraft when it came crashing down.
The Pakistani community has their expressed sadness over the incident.
