RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa on Wednesday said that Pakistan has rendered numerous sacrifices in war on terror and now it is time for the world to “do more”, ARY News reported.
Addressing the Defence Day ceremony in General Headquarters, the COAS said that despite rendering sacrifices, we are being told that we are not doing enough.
“If Pakistan hasn’t done enough (in this war), no country has done anything as despite having limited resources we had great success,” said Bajwa.
He added that Pakistan has paid in blood for every inch secured in this war on terror and “now I say the world must do more”.
The COAS was of the view that Pakistan has set an example for all those countries who are fighting terror.
He repeated the resolve to take this war to logical conclusion but warned the world powers that if they can’t appreciate Pakistan’s success in war on terror they should not blame Pakistan for their failures.
Bajwa reminded the nation and the world that Pakistan is aware of all the conspiracies against the country and CPEC and its soldiers are ready to sacrifice their lives for the people of Balochistan like people of Balochistan did for Pakistan.
