LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that his party workers are seeking permission to protest against the attack on National Assembly member Tahira Asif but he told them to remain peaceful, ARY News reports.
Speaking in ARY News program Ab Tak hosted by Sadaf Abdul Jabbar, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that the party workers are angry over the murder attempt on Tahira Asif and want to protest over the incident. He said that he has told them to remain calm.
Chief MQM said that the attackers were waiting to attack her.
He also said that the Parliamentarian is severely injured and appealed the nation to pray for her recovery.
Altaf Hussain also inquired about the health of Tahira Asif by contacting the doctors of Shaikh Zayed Hospital.
