Twitterati covers 'UFO attack' on Turkey

The most chilling UFO-related incident of the year happened this week in Turkey when a series of lights were seen by a number of people who immediately started tweeting photos and videos with hashtag #ufoattacktoturkey.

On Sunday night, Turkey’s Twitter exploded with images and videos of the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO). Some claimed that an attack took place while others say they simply saw the UFO.

A number of users compared it with the Phoenix Lights incident of 1997. Some users also complained that Twitter was deleting posts with hashtag.

#UFOAttackToTurkey was trending globally on Twitter, now it’s censored. There are reports of similar lights from Texas, Denver and the UK.

The claims were not verified by authentic sources but the trend stayed there on the social media site with more and more claims.

Interestingly, 36 years ago, in the same month, a British policeman Alan Godfrey also claimed abduction by aliens who were using a UFO.
