Two brothers drown while taking selfie in Gujrat

GUJRAT: Two brothers drown on Saturday while attempting to take a selfie in stream near Gujrat, ARY News reported.

The incident occured in Itwal stream near Kolia Shah Hussain in district Gujrat where brother Shiraz and Shamraiz had gone for a picnic.

Shiraz was taking a selfie when his foot slipped and he fell in the stream. His elder brother Shamraiz jumped to save his life but also drowned in the fast flowing stream.

Rescue officials have fished out both bodies after a few hours. They confirmed that the brother was standing close to the bank of the stream to take a selfie when the untoward incident occurred.
