Indian Border Security Force opened unprovoked fire in the early hours of Monday across the Working Boundary near Sialkot into the Charwah sector, Chenab Rangers sources said.

There were also reports that several cattles were also killed in the firing from across the boundary.

Pakistan’s Chenab Rangers responded to the Indian firing and after intermittent exchange of fire silenced the Indian guns.

Pakistan had recently returned an Indian soldier who had stranded into Pakistani territory.
