LAHORE: Two laborers were killed as the roof of a factory collapsed after a boiler explosion at Lahore’s Raiwind Road, ARY News reported.
A boiler exploded inside the factory due to which the roof of a factory came crashing down, leaving two workers dead and several injured.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene and retrieved the wounded persons from the rubble. The victims were shifted to a hospital.
The rescue officials stated that they faced hurdles in reaching the scene due to the ongoing religious gathering in Raiwind.
It should be noted that three laborers were killed when the roof of a factory located at Shahpur Kaanjraan area of Lahore collapsed on them following a boiler blast.
