Two minors die of viral diseases, malnutrition in Thar

THARPARKAR: Two children on Sunday died of viral infections and malnutrition at a government hospital in Tharparkar, ARY News reported.
Civil Hospital Mithi administration sources said one-month-old Nizamuddin and two-year-old Allah Rakhio were admitted to the hospital for several days for medical treatment.
It is pertinent to mention that 60 children have died of viral diseases and malnutrition in the last month in the district.
The hospital administration said 48 children were still being treated at the hospital. The under-treatment kids are suffering from malnutrition.
People have complaint of lack of health facilities in the drought-hit district. Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar has constituted a committee to investigate reasons of deaths of the children.
