A dual murder convict Shahid Mehmood was hanged to death at Karachi Central Jail this morning.
Condemned prisoner Shahid Mehmood had killed a woman and her daughter upon resisting a bid of robbery in 1998.
A lower court handed him death sentence for committing dual murder. The upper courts rejected his appeal against capital punishment, while his mercy plea was also rejected.
A triple murder convict, Tajammul, was hanged to death in Bahawalpur Central Jail.
Tajammul had killed his three cousin sisters in year 2004.
