Four Die, Fourtee Injured as Van Falls Into Ravine Lower Dir

LOWER DIR: At least four people were killed and other 14 injured when a passenger van fell into a ravine lower dir due to over speeding here on Saturday, ARY News reported.

Two children were reportedly among the dead.

According to police, the van was travelling from Asban to Gulabad when it met an unfortunate incident and fell into a deep ditch while maneuvering.

Rescue teams with help of local people shifted the injured to nearby hospital where doctors pronounced condition of 10 injured as critical.

However, the identification of dead and injured could not be established.

Separately, three people died and two others injured when a car of wedding guests met an accident in Mohmand Agency.

The administration said the accident happened in Yakkaghund area in the evening when a speeding car of wedding party guests rammed into a parked truck loaded with marble. The injured were taken to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar where the condition of one injured was said to be critical.
