Viral video: US man hand-feeds alligator

Weeks after a gruesome alligator attack, a viral video shows a US man hand-feeding an alligator while chilling in a creek.
In a viral video, the couple identified as Butch and Peddy can be seen feeding the alligator that is swimming in the middle of the water.
The video was posted to Instagram this week by a page named Only in Florida with a caption that read, “Florida man is gonna be Florida man.”
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission states that the chances of a Floridian getting bitten by an alligator are minimal, but this statement does not consider the scenario where someone like Butch is feeding the alligator.
Seven individuals in 2021 experienced severe bites from alligators, and from 1948 to 2021, there were 442 unprovoked alligator bites in Florida, which resulted in 26 deaths.
