So Virat Kohli, the inimitable batsman, praised wife Anushka Sharma’s performance in the not-so-massively-successful Bollywood film ‘Zero’ and trolls were perhaps just waiting for the tweet.
The Indian cricket team’s captain not only praised the movie but also termed her wife Anushka Sharma’s performance “outstanding”.

Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ was the last big release of the year and the makers were expecting it to be the biggest hit of 2018 but so far it has received mixed reviews from critics.
“Expected so much from this collaboration [SRK and director Aanand L Rai]… Sadly, the flawed writing – especially the second hour – takes the film downhill… EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT,” top critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.
“Zero has lofty ambitions but when it comes to delivery, it falls too short,” wrote another critic.
