The viral video shows the leopard chasing a cat and suddenly entering the room, forcing the man to flee. The wild cat then darted across tables and chairs before exiting, causing panic among staff and locals.
A leopard caused a stir at a private tea plantation in Kotagiri when it darted through the canteen at high speed, weaving between tables and chairs. Terrified staff members shouted and ran for cover as the animal made a swift exit, leaving behind a scene of chaos.
One man, who had been seated at a table, was seen leaping to his feet and sprinting to safety.
Local reports indicate the leopard likely entered the area in search of prey, such as cats or rodents, which are often found near human settlements.

Forest department officials in Tamil Nadu have been alerted and are now monitoring the area to prevent further encounters.
