Watch: Rhino charges at tourist jeep, chases it for over kilometre

A video of a rhinoceros charging at a jungle safari jeep and chasing it for more than a kilometre in South Africa is going viral on social media.

Tourist Anastasia Chapman’s shared the video of her encounter with the rhinoceros on Instagram. It showed the animal feeding on grass.
It suddenly looked at her vehicle and charged at it. The animal aggressively chased the vehicle for more than a kilometre.
Anastasia Chapman, recalling her deadly encounter with the rhinoceros, said it was abnormal behaviour on the animal’s part.
”Had the craziest experience with a temperamental rhino yesterday,” she stated. “He charged at us full send for over a kilometre, barreling at us for 3-4 mins straight. Our guide was driving as fast as he could through the extremely muddy and unstable roads to get us out safely.

“This behaviour definitely isn’t normal and our guide said it was one of his top 5 most dangerous animal encounters to date. Absolute insane day in nature and a reminder that we are only guests in these animals’ homes and territories.”
