When selecting a restaurant, there are numerous factors to be considered. While many prefer going to somewhere that has an aesthetic theme, others look for the price of the items and without any doubt, everyone flips through reviews to check the ratings given for the behaviour of the staff. But, when you visit Karen’s restaurant in the US, don’t expect any niceties.

A video shared on social media platform Twitter shows a glimpse of the service one gets at the novelty restaurant. For the uninitiated, Karen’s restaurant is a themed eatery where the servers are intentionally rude to the customers while serving them.

In the video, a woman can be seen bringing some burgers and fries for the customer, recording it. After placing the food (rather slamming) on the table, the woman even picks up a fried item from the customer’s plate and eats it.

While one section found the concept funny, others commented on how touching a customer’s food takes the ‘theme’ too far. Many also pointed out that running a restaurant that is intentionally rude to the customers promotes hatred.
