Continuing his tirade against rivals MQM, Mustafa Kamal said twenty-thousand mothers in Karachi had lost their sons but for what?
“We have returned to bring about betterment in your lives,” he said.

Kamal also said categorically that now him or his supporters will not fight over ethnic issues. He repeated the same words that he had said earlier, that he was here to join hearts and promote unity, rather than cause conflict.

Lashing out indirectly at MQM chief Altaf Hussain, he said: “We had allotted the status of God to one man.”

Mustafa Kamal also said that he had opened Pak Sarzameen party’s office in Hyderabad and that thousands of people were coming there. He also beckoned others to participate in the upcoming public show of strength the party has decided to hold on April 24.
“Join us on April 24 at Bagh-e-Jinnah and make your presence felt,” he said.

The former Nazim and ex MQM member also expressed disappointment at the state of affairs that Karachi was in.
“I remember what this city used to be like twenty years ago. Now, it has turned into a garbage dump,” he said.
