“All my life has been spent lecturing people for tolerance. We can take revenge of the Model Town incident from Sharif brothers, but we have no intention to spoil peace,” he said while addressing Qisas rally.
He said PAT took to streets because they were deprived of registering FIR and disinterested JIT was not made in their case.
“We demand nothing more than justice. Police officers are held responsible through fake JIT’s for the Model Town incident,” he said.
The PAT chief questioned that who would eradicate terrorism from Punjab after it had been annihilated in Waziristan.
He said Punjab was mastermind of terrorism in Waziristan. Punjab is the root cause.
“Existence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is dangerous for sovereignty of Pakistan. India is fighting war of saving Nawaz’s throne. Every time when his government is in danger a blast or a big terrorist incident takes place,” he said.
He said the PAT workers had displayed matchless enthusiasm and vigour for setting justice.
“Our peaceful protest is the voice of the weak sections of the society. The participation of the masses in today’s rallies has woken up the nation,” he said.
Qadri said they were peaceful citizens and wanted to get qisas over the Model Town victims as per the law of the land and Sharia.
