The former Pakistani Cricket Legend – Waqar Younis – who is currently in India performing his duty as the commentator found himself speechless as he witnessed Afghanistan’s stunning and historic victory against his team during an ICC World Cup 2023 match in Chennai.

The former Pakistani pacer who was present in the commentary box, appeared utterly defeated as Afghanistan scripted a remarkable victory at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

The final moments of the exciting clash were caught on video and Younis’s expressions summed it all.

“And there it is. Momentous. Historic. The first time Afghanistan has won two matches in a World Cup. Fantastic. A controlled skillful and dominant run chase against former champions Pakistan. They have doubled up on celebrations,” Mpumelelo Mbangwa seated alongside Matthew Hayden and Waqar Younis quipped.
