Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif made the statement while addressing a ceremony given in the honour of outgoing Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan on Tuesday.
He said that Pakistan will continue its moral, diplomatic and political support of the Kashmiris in their freedom movement.
The prime minister said that the election process in Azad Jammu and Kashmir has strengthened the democracy in the region.
Sharif also paid rich tribute to the services of the outgoing AJK president in the ceremony.
