LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here on Saturday alleged that corruption and wrong polices of the past governments destroyed Pakistan’s economy.
Talking to a group of legislators who called on him, CM Buzdar said that record loans had been taken during the last decade and the amount was spent on personal projection. He further said, “Now people are paying for the wrong policies adopted by the past governments.”
In a statement released from his office, the chief minister said the PTI government was steering the country towards the right direction.

He said, “PTI has never done politics of personal interest and will never do such politics in the future. The national interest has always been kept supreme.”
Current government was the most transparent government of Pakistan’s history, he said and added that the elements afraid from the change were spreading false propaganda.
CM Buzdar said that it would take time to fix the problems creating during the last 70 years and added that the measures taken by the current government would change the destiny of the country.
