WWE Legends Dwayne Johnson, John Cena pairing up for the big screens

LOS ANGELES: WWE legends Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena are pairing up to star in a film together. According to Reports, the Wrestling legends are teaming up to ignite Hollywood’s big screens.
The Rock announced on his Instagram that Cena has landed a major role in a movie being catered by Jhonson’s production house.
“Found my star! Congrats to my good bud John Cena on landing the lead role for our movie, THE JANSON DIRECTIVE.” wrote Johnson.

Cena reposted the latter’s welcoming video on Twitter with a caption saying;
“Humbled and honoured for this incredible opportunity.”

Earlier, it was reported that Johnson would be taking the lead role. However, due to his busy schedule, all parties involved thought of moving him to a producer’s role.
Cena who has already made his mark in the movie industry with roles in films such Trainwreck and Blockers will be wowing the audience in this upcoming thriller.
According to reports, the wrestler will play a former spy.
“The novel follows a former consular ops agent who, after leaving covert operations due to the high number of sanctioned serial killings, goes into business as a private security consultant. Teamed with a sharpshooter, Janson only takes assignments that he believes will lead to helping those in need.”
A release date for the film hasn’t been announced yet.
