KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to hold a public gathering at Mangal Bazar Ground, situated at Karachi’s area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, in Karachi on Sunday (today) in connection with party’s 23rd Youm-e-Tasees (Foundation Day).
According to details, the preparations for the gathering have been finalized and stage has also been installed at the Jalsagah, while 260 policemen will be deployed to ensure security of the Jalsagah.
The gathering is set to take place at 7pm today’s evening, banners and panaflex of the party flags and its leadership has been installed in the city.
Earlier this month, the chief organiser of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Saifullah Niazi had met Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed party matters.
During the meeting, PM Khan had ordered the chief organiser to mark PTI’s foundation day in a full-fledged manner.

PM Khan had said the PTI was now at a very important stage of its evolution. He said party workers and activists must now prepare to celebrate the foundation day under the leadership of Saifullah Khan Niazi.
Meanwhile, the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to organize the main ceremony of the party’s foundation day in Islamabad on May 1.
PTI’s founding chairman and Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the event.
