Younus becomes third Pakistani to smash double ton at Oval

This is his sixth double-century in Test cricket and the most by any Pakistani. Javed Miandad has also scored six double centuries.
After completing his imposing double tons with a sixer off English bowler Moeen Ali’s bowl, he put down his forehead on ground in supplication to Allah (SWT).
With such a good Test performance Younus Khan is still unpredictable. He scored 33, 25, 1, 18, 31, 4 in last three Test matches of ongoing Test series against England. He has been seen in magnificent form earlier as well when criticism started to ramp up against him.
His double tons (218) can lay foundation for Pakistan’s victory against England in fourth Test, which will square the series by 2-2.
Younus had hit his first double century (267) against India in 2005.
This should also be noted that only two Indians could score double centuries at The Oval so far.
Pakistan were 542 all out at tea break on third day with lead by 214 runs.
