NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Pakistan Army’s operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ with the aim to wipe out terrorism from the country has been progressing successfully as 376 terrorists have been killed, 19 have surrendered to the security forces while 61 terrorists Hideouts have been destroyed in the operation during last 15 days, ARY News reported.
Following the various air strikes since start of operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb on June 15, Pakistan Army commenced ground operation in and around Miranshah early morning today.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) infantry troops and special service group conducted house to house search of Miranshah town and killed 15 terrorists, recovered underground tunnels and IEDs preparation factories inside while 3 soldiers got injured in exchange of fire.
