DADU: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Saturday said former president and Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari had ruined the party of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, ARY News reported.

He said the PPP leader had reduced the largest party of Pakistan, the PPP, to Sindh only.

“The PPP once had its roots deep into all of the provinces. You have successfully reduced it into a small party, although, it was a difficult job which even a dictator could not perform,” he said while addressing a public gathering in Dadu.

On Zardari’s comment that Imran had no know-how of politics, he prayed to God not to give him knowledge of politics like Zardari had.

Imran said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was a politician as cunning as a fox. He also appreciated Zardari for being candid about his corruption and not a hypocrite.

He announced to launch a country-wide campaign against corruption and said after a joint investigation team was formed against Nawaz Sharif now it was turn of Zardari to be held accountable.

The PTI chief also congratulated Liaquat Ali Jatoi over joining his party and directed PTI Sindh officials to expedite political activities in Sindh.
