Zimbabwe became the first test-playing nation to visit Pakistan since the attack on Sri Lankan team at Lahore in 2009.
The provincial government and the security agencies left no stone upturned to ensure that the historic series is held safely.
Although Pakistan won the Twenty20 (T20) and ODI series but the visitors won the hearts of the nation. The spectators and the people kept chanting “Zimbabwe!!” and their player names throughout the tour.
Many Zimbabwe players including Craig Ervine, Sean Williams and Sikandar Raza took to Twitter to appreciate Pakistan for its hospitality.
Batsman Craig Ervine said that the tour was an experience which he will never forget while Charles Coventry said he made new friends in the country.
