100 students arrested after seminary sealed near Quetta

According to police officials, the seminary was sealed on suspicion of presence of the Taliban. It is known there was a large number of Afghan students studying at the seminary without any valid documents.

Police also claimed to have recovered prohibited literature from the seminary. The students have been shifted to various police stations around the city for interrogation.

Yesterday, six terrorists were arrested including an Al-Qaeda and ISIS

commander from Noshki. This was confimed by Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti who said that a huge amount of arms and ammunition was also recovered including an ISIS flag and other extremist literature.

It may be mentioned that a combing operation is underway across the country to eliminate sleeper cells and terrorist hideouts. This was intensified about the Quetta blast which leave at least 70 people mostly lawyers dead.
