Initial report suggested that the incident had occurred on Feb 11 and the boy lost his life after he tried to get the hold of a falling kite and he jumped from a roof and stuck in wires.

The report said the request for removal of wires had already been submitted while officials concerned had also been conveyed about the cost of the work.

Residents have earlier reported the hanging electricity wires of high voltage. The residents said that Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has not taken any step to resolve the issue despite continuous complaints. They had also urged the district administration to ensure safety of the people by maintaining the wires.
