26 militants surrender to authorities in Balochistan

KHUZDAR: At least 26 militants surrender to authorities in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Friday.

The surrendered militants, belonging to an outlawed organization, also included their commander, Omar Baloch.

The militants laid down their arms during a ceremony at Kalat Scouts Camp.

Pakistan Muslim League-N Senator Naimatullah Khan Zehri

, Commandant Kalat Scouts Colonel Rizwan Afzal and other officials were also present on this occasion.

This should be noted that over 450 Baloch militants on April 21 surrendered their weapons and entered into the national mainstream.

Addressing a ceremony in this regard, Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri said that government is giving top priority to restore peace, and place the province on the path of progress and prosperity.

He invited the misled elements to come back to their motherland and take part in constructive activities.
