Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s 3 Bahadur has gripped the nation by storm and is being well received. Pakistan’s first ever animated feature film, 3 Bahadur premiered yesterday in Karachi and is all set to premiere in Lahore today.
The film which tells the story of 3 children with superhuman capabilities fight crime and oppression in Andher Basti. The animated movie has its fair share of villains as well, such as Mangu, Sannata, Teeli, Shikra and Pateeli, our superheroes have their hands full.
Sharmeen had stated that the film was helmed with a
mission to inspire Pakistani kids to bring about a positive change in society and tackle all societal evils. Since this is Pakistan’s first animated feature film, it has drawn people in huge numbers to see the flick and also attracted nationwide attention.
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy had also stated in an interview exclusively to ARY News that she hoped to win an Oscar again, this time for animation.
