According to details, shocks were felt in Swat, Mingora, Battagram, Lower Dir and adjacent areas, which prompted the people to come out of their houses.
The seismological center reported the intensity of the quake to be 5.6, with its epicenter lying close to the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border.
However, no loss of life or property was reported in the wake of quake.
