QUETTA: According to unofficial and unfinalized results, so far 68 candidates have been declared successful in the Local Body (LB) elections in Balochistan for there were no nominations filed against them – ARY News reports.
According to details, electoral activities in Balochistan are ongoing as per the schedule announced. A total of 22131 candidates have submitted nominations for 7189 seats.
So far 68 candidates have been declared successful.
40 candidates from tehsil Darreji, 6 from Mangochan tehsil of district Qalaat and 19 from Naseerabad were declared successful for being unopposed.
2 candidates from Chaman had also no opponents, while another candidate was declared successful from Moosakhel
