ACE arrests Mazhar Abbas in mega corruption scandal

LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) have arrested the former chairman task force food Mazhar Abbas in mega corruption scandal. ARY News reported on Thursday.

As per details, the accused was appointed by the former foreign minster Shah Mehmood Qureshi as chairman task force food.

The ACE officials said that he is accused of Rs 2billion corruption in three years as he was doing Rs 10 to 25 lac corruption daily for three years and sold the Rs 645 flour bag at Rs 1100 in the market.

Furthermore, the accused is reportedly the front man of former MNA Zain Qureshi. The ACE officials said that the accused two day physical remand is accepted.
