Ahmad Shahzad in, Khurram Manzoor out of World T20 squad

According to details, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sent the final squad to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the World T20 set to take place in India this month.

Khurram Manzoor managed to score just 11 runs in three innings in this year’s edition of the Asia Cup Twenty20.

Ahmad Shahzad was dropped for this year’s Asia Cup and World T20 but his performances in the inaugural edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) made the selectors reconsider their decision.

He is the only Pakistani batsman to score a century in 20-over format of the game. He has scored 941 runs in 40 T20 internationals with an average of 24.76 runs per innings.

Pakistani selectors also brought in Khalid Latif for the tournament. He last represented Pakistan back in 2012 against Sri Lanka.
