ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan on Wednesday visited the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The air chief, who is currently on an official visit, called on Assistant Defence Minister of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Ayesh.
He reiterated goodwill of the government and people of Pakistan and thanked the Saudi leadership for their support to Pakistan and its armed forces.
Both the dignitaries deliberated on defence and security cooperation, regional stability and steps towards strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries in general and air forces in particular.
Earlier the air chief met the Saudi Chief of General Staff General Fayyadh Bin Hamid bin Ragad Al- Rwaili in his office.
Yesterday, the air chief visited the headquarters of Royal Saudi Air Force. A smartly turned out contingent of Royal Saudi Air Force presented guard of honour on his arrival.
During the visit, he met his Saudi counterpart, Lieutenant General (Staff) Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Commander Royal Saudi Air Force.
Various matters of bilateral cooperation and professional interest came under discussion during the meeting.
Commander Royal Saudi Air Force lauded the strong bond of love and respect between both the brotherly nations and the two air forces.
While showing satisfaction on the current level of cooperation, both dignitaries agreed to explore new avenues to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
