In a statement issued from London, MQM chief while stressing on the need to resolve all differences through dialogues said that talks are necessary to save democracy.
Altaf Hussain appealed Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and agitating leaders Imran Khan and Tahir-ul-Qadri to come on table to solve all differences.
Defending the public’s right to protest, MQM founder advised the government to refrain from using force against peaceful protestors.
Altaf Hussain said that those who want to march shall be allowed to do so, as confronting the protesters could make the conditions worse.
The exiled leader said that MQM will not support any kind of confrontation.
