Altaf moved to police station after medical test

LONDON: MQM chief Altaf Hussain has been shifted to police station after his angiography was conducted at the Wellington Hospital in London, ARY News reported Friday.

The MQM founding leader is detained by Scotland Yard Police over money-laundering charges in London. At the time of his detention two days ago,the condition of MQM chief deteriorated and thence he was moved to Wellington Hospital for treatment.

Altaf Hussain has now been shifted to Southpark Police Station. According to Scotland Yard, Mr. Hussain was shifted to police station after permission from the doctors.

Doctors had advised Mr. Hussain 10 hours rest after his angiography was conducted yesterday. His medical reports were declared satisfactory by the doctors.

Afza Altaf, daughter of Mr. Hussain, also met her father after the angiography test at the hospital.
