Ambassador to India Abdul Basit meets Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to India, Abdul Basit has met the Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan here on Monday and briefed him about the nature of Pak-India bilateral ties, post PM’s visit there – ARY News reports.

Abdul Basit briefed the Interior Minister about the nature of bilateral ties between both the states, after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s recent visit to India.

Khan said that Pakistan seeks establishing friendly and equilateral relations with India, whoever he said that no advancement can take place in ties, until the resolution of all the bilateral issues including Kashmir.

Nisar said that peace cannot be realized until the resolution of longstanding issues.

He expressed his hopes that the new Indian government will also take positive measures in order to improve relations with bilateral ties.
