An intelligence agency in a raid in Pipri area arrested Ali Rehman alias Tona, a key accused of the terrorist attack on a bus carrying Ismaili community passengers at Safoora Goth last year.
According to security sources, the accused went in hiding after the terrorist attack that claimed large number of people including women and children.
Ali Rehman Tony said to be an accomplice of arrested suspects Tahir alias Saeen, Kamran Gujjar and Saad Aziz.
The arrested terrorist said to be expert in operating various weapons.
On May 13, 2015, gunmen on motorcycles boarded a bus and opened fire on commuters belonging to the Ismaili community in Karachi, killing at least 44 people.
