As intolerance takes its toll on minorities living in India, Uttarkhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat issued a statement, stating that those who slaughter cows in India have no right to be in the country and that they are the biggest enemy of India.
“Anyone who kills cows, no matter which community he belongs to is India’s biggest enemy and has no right to live in the country.”
After right wing political organization Shiv Sena’s atrocities and biased statements, Uttarkhand’s Chief Minister has started issuing hateful speeches against Muslims.
He further also stated that those who slaughtered cows in India, strict action in accordance with the law, would be taken against them.
“Law will deal sternly with those who kill cows in Uttarakhand and the state government will do everything for cow conservation,” he said.
It should be borne in mind that previously, a ban on the slaughter of cows has also been in place in India.
