According to details, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah directed the authorities to keep all educational institutes – both government and private – closed on Wednesday on account of completion of a year since the gruesome APS attack took place in Peshawar that killed over 140, mostly children.
In his message, Shah paid tributes to the martyrs and said the terrorists will be made answerable before the nation.
The University of Karachi (UoK) will also remain closed tomorrow, confirmed the Nazim Examinations. All examinations and practicals to be held under Punjab University tomorrow have also been cancelled, said a spokesperson.
In Punjab, CM Shahbaz Sharif directed for keeping all educational institutes closed on account of the APS martyrs anniversary.
Meanwhile, Balochistan government also announced a public holiday tomorrow, read a press statement issued Tuesday evening.
Schools and colleges will also remain closed in Peshawar on Wednesday.
