Army Chief lauds role of paramedic staff during national calamities

Addressing the doctors and paramedic staff at Army Medical Corps in Abbottabad on Friday, he lauded the efforts of Army Medical Corps in up-gradation of hospitals, specialized treatment including, liver transplant unit, hands and upper limbs surgery center.

Army Chief said that AMC has always answered the call of duty during national calamities both inland and abroad and disaster management.

Later, the Army Chief pinned the badges of rank of Lieutenant General on Asif Mumtaz Sukhera to formally install him Colonel Commandant of Army Medical Corps. He also laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered fateha.
