According to details, the majlis was organized in Khairpur’s Babarloo area to commemorate the martyrdom Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (R.A), son of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A).
Sources stated that two women and a child were killed whereas 20 others were also wounded in the hospital.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the wounded to a nearby medical facility. The condition of three persons is said to be critical.
It should be noted that a large number children were on the roof of the worship place when it came tumbling down.
