According to details, the Sindh High Court (SHC) today resumed hearing of a petition filed by the supermodel seeking removal of her name from the ECL. Her counsel told that court that the model has so far suffered Rs200 million losses as she is unable to travel abroad to finish her modeling assignments.
After being summoned by the court, Secretary Interior Arif Khan appeared before the court and said the matter is under consideration by the apex court and requested it to grant two days’ time to submit explanation.
The SHC giving a day’s time to submit reply asked the secretary to strike off Ayyan’s name from the list if the Supreme Court (SC) does not stay the decision.
Earlier, the SHC served a show cause notice to the federal government for not striking the name of model Ayyan Ali off the ECL despite court orders.
