QUETTA: The Balochistan government is set to present budget for the fiscal year 2014-15 with an outlay of over Rs 215 billion today, ARY News reported.
Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch said the budget was prepared keeping in view the problems of people. The budget will be presented in the Balochistan Assembly.
Information Minister Balochistan told media special attention was given to health and education sectors in the budget. At least 25% of the budget will be allocated for education. He told that Rs 2 billion more were earmarked for law and order improvement after slashing the amount from development budget.
It is learnt that a huge amount was also allocated for water supply system in Quetta. Allocation for construction of small and big dams is also made in the budget, sources added.
