Balochistan: Security forces foil terror bid ahead of Independence Day

According to details, security forces foiled a terror plot ahead of the Independence Day, 14th August, as they recovered a large quantity of weapons and explosives piled up at Seekhnam area of Barkhan district.

The arsenal included four anti-tank mines, nine rocket propelled grenades, five remote controlled bombs, detonators and other material likely to be used in a terrorism attack.

A spokesman of Frontier Constabulary has said that the terrorists were collecting the explosives to carry out their activities of sabotage on the Independence Day.

It should be noted that security forces have foiled scores of terror bids in the past.
