Bilawal arrives Mithi, visits hospital in drought-hit area

MITHI: Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reached Mithi, main town of drought-hit Tharparkar, to look into the situation in the area, ARY News reported on Monday. 

Pakistan People's Party's local leaders and workers received the party chairman in Mithi who was accompanied by Information Minister Sharjeel Memon. 

Bilawal, the scion of  Pakistan's Bhutto dynasty, visiting the desert region of Sindh bordering India after media reports suggested several deaths including children due to hunger and disease. 

Provincial ruling party, the PPP, however denied the reports blaming the media overblowing the deaths in desert district. 

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited Mithi Civil Hospital to inquire about the situation. A top health official briefed the PPP chairman about the crisis situation in the region.
