Bilawal calls nation to rid country of Sharif family

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said that the nation has to rid the country of the Sharif family, ARY News reported.

He was addressing an anti-government rally, which he is leading from Lahore to Faisalabad.

The PPP chairman said that creating jobs and poverty alleviation is the responsibility of the government. He asked how a nation can progress if income sources are very limited.

Bilawal said that factories and industries are shutting down, unemployment is rising and there are power and gas shortages in the country.

The PPP chairman is expected to address public meetings at Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Shahkot on his way to Faisalabad.

Pakistan People’s Party had announced to launch an anti-government protest movement from 19th January (today) after federal government did not accept the party chairman’s four demands.

Bilawal had demanded the government to implement the parliament resolution on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, re-constitute the parliamentary committee on national security, pass Panama Bill drafted by Pakistan People’s Party and appoint a regular foreign minister immediately.
