According to reports, she made the statement in her text to ex-premier Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, who said that he received the message on Tuesday.
The message read, “I just saw Bilawal Bhutto on TV and he sounds just like his mother.”
“Tell him I said good luck and I hope he achieves the success his mother was trying to achieve,” she texted Gillani.
Gillani replied that it was a pleasure to hear such words from Clinton and he had conveyed her sentiment to Bilawal. The former prime minister added that the PPP chairman was happy to receive such encouragement from the former first lady.
“You have been a consistent friend of Pakistan and the PPP. We hope to see you as president soon and wish you all the success in the upcoming elections,” he replied.
It should be noted that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had recently staged a public meeting at Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.
